CALL FOR PAPERS
The 18th IAMB CONFERENCE, Fall 2014 Roma TRE University Rome, Italy September 17-19, 2014 Submission Deadline: June 22, 2014 (in ONE WEEK) IAMB and Roma TRE University are inviting scholars and practitioners to submit papers and symposia for presentation. Topics of interests in management and business include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
¨ Organizational Studies ¨ International Business ¨ Strategic Management ¨ Marketing Studies ¨ Technology & Innovation ¨ Management of Social Issues ¨ Education Management ¨ Human Resource Management ¨ Management Studies ¨ Finance and Accounting Symposia and workshops:I. Sidrea International Symposium: Creative Accounting, Earnings Management and Financial Disclosure This workshop/symposium is a collaborative effort between the Department of Business Studies, University of Roma TRE, IAMB, and SIDREA (Società Italiana dei Docenti di Ragioneria e di Economia Aziendale). The workshop is designed to offer advice, provide guidance, and to debate topic-related contributes that are carried out by accounting and business economist researchers working at all levels of academic and professional positions. It is expected that this International Workshop will provide a platform for discussion of research proposals, working papers, methods and methodological issues. II. Project and Knowledge Management in Complex Contexts Symposium This symposium provides an opportunity for scholars, researchers and practitioners to exchange research and knowledge and to co-create value on new models, methods and techniques related to project and knowledge management for organizations in complex contexts. III. Writing Manuscript for top International management Journal (The “How to”) Professor Meir Russ, the Chief Editor of IJMB, International Journal of Management and Business, is offering an academic workshop providing key guidelines and tips for preparing manuscripts for submission to peer-review, top international business journals. The workshop targets Ph.D. students, new assistant professors, and all others interested in publishing in peer-reviewed international journals. Invitation for Best Paper Awards. Scholars are invited to submit their manuscripts for considerations for the following awards: + Best Student Paper Award. [$400 USD]. + Best Young Scholar Award + Best Overall Paper Award + Best Applied Paper Award The winner will receive: award certificate, public recognition and a publication in the International Journal of Management and Business, IJMB.
